World-renowned fashion designer Josie Natori and internationally acclaimed singer Charice Pempengco will join the list of participants in the June 15 concert in Washington D.C to raise funds for the victims of super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) which brought devastation in various parts of the Visayas.
The Philippine Ambassador to Washington Jose Cuisia Jr, urged the Filipino-American communities to buy tickets for the concert, saying that the project will help Yolanda victims to rebuild their lives.
The tickets for the June 15 concert for the benefits of Yolanda victims started selling since April 4, 2014 in various designated outlets by the organizers of the event. Tickets are also available and can be purchased online through www.kennedy-center.org or charge by phone by calling (202) 467-4600.
The concert in the United States dubbed “After the Storm: A Benefit Concert for the Philippines,” will be held at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. on June 15, 2014.
According to the organizers of the concert, Charice Pempengco is just one of the few international artists who will perform during the concert. Josie Natori on her part will be among the concert’s special presenters. Josie Natori is a multi-awarded designer and founder of The Natori Company.

The concert for the benefits of Yolanda victims is initiated by the Philippine Embassy and the US-Philippines Society and the Philippine Humanitarian Coalition. The show will be directed by Broadway legend Baayork Lee with the production of Emmy-nominated producer Robert Pullen.
