Wowie de Guzman broke down to tears as he recalls the death of his wife, Sheryl Ann Reyes, who died last Saturday, April 26, 2014, after taking muscle pain reliever and months of having erratic blood pressure.
Sheryl Ann Reyes, the wife of former actor Wowi de Guzman gave birth last month to their first child, a baby girl named Alex. During an interview with ABS-CBN Pampanga, Wowie de Guzman recalls the final moments of his wife before her untimely death.
The 37-year-old actor turned emotional when the subject of raising his daughter, Alex, as a single father was brought up during the exclusive interview of the Kapamilya Channel’s news team.
According to Wowie de Guzman during the last moments of his wife they were just sleeping and his wife woke up and took pain reliever. After that Sheryl Ann Reyes got choke, her eyes dilate and Wowie tried to perform a mouth-to-mouth but he could not revive his wife.
Wowie de Guzman then rushed his wife to the nearest hospital and asked the doctors and hospital staffs to do their best to save her loving wife but their effort were all in vain.
Despite the lost of Wowie’s wife, he noted that he should be strong and blamed nobody for the incident. Wowie stated that he should be strong for their baby because is he is weak then his wife will surely fell the pain first. He added further that all the things that happened has a reason.
Wowie de Guzman and Sheryl Ann Reyes named their first daughter as Alex Rafeal, she was born last March 27, 2014.
