The Wack Wack Golf and Country Club has suspended the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II for at least two months for over his alleged “meltdown” last April 6, 2014.

According to the report of ABS-CBNnews.com, the suspension order was issued following the April 6, 2014 incident where Mar Roxas reportedly berated one of the staff of Wack Wack Golf and Country Club for requiring him to pay the P5,100 “green fee” for a guest he invited for a golf lesson with Rey Pagunsan.
Mar Roxas reportedly made a tongue-lashing compliment in one of the employees of the golf club and has berated the employee; “T————–ina!. Walang presi-presidente sa akin!” “Walang bawal bawal sa akin,” Interaksyon.com stated.
Wack Wack Golf and Country Club board and management stated that the sanction imposed against Mar Roxas ”is consistent with actions taken by the club to uphold its policies and to maintain good order at all times for the enjoyment of the club by its members and their dependents and guests.”
”Wack Wack Golf and Country Club is a private club. It is a basic and time-honored policy of the club to protect its privacy and that of its members. It is therefore our desire that with this statement and the action taken on this incident, we shall now consider this matter closed and move on,” Wack Wack Golf Club quoted in a statement.
The Wack Wack Golf Club’s president Philip Ella Juico, the husband of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Margie Juico said that they will be conducting a thorough investigation regarding the case of the interior secretary.
