Singer-actor Sam Concepcion finally broke his silence as he confirmed his relationship with Jasmine Curtis-Smith, the sister of Dyesebel actress Anne Curtis during an exclusive interview with “Buzz ng Bayan” host Boy Abunda on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
During his guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s weekend talk show, the 21-year-old Mirabella actor also confirmed a confrontation between him and Anne Curtis during the birthday celebration of comedian Vice Ganda few weeks ago.

“Yes, there was a confrontation that happened. She did go up to me and she talked to me. Hindi ko naman po sasabihin na hindi nangyari yun. Pero all for the good of everybody, naiintindihan ko siyempre. Kasi kung ako may nakababatang kapatid, siyempre gusto kong i-test yung manliligaw,” the former Little Big Star champion said.
Sam Concepcion explained that he did not expect a mild confrontation with the actress-host that’s why he was shocked with the report of an online entertainment site regarding his controversy earlier.
But Sam Concepcion reiterated that he and Anne Curtis have already settled the issue which previously surfaced online. Sam Concepcion also attest having a good relationship between him and the family of his rumored girlfriend Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
Meanwhile, Sam Concepcion played down the rumors linking him to his “Mirabella” co-star Julia Barretto. On the other hand, the 17-year-old actress-model stated in a previous interview that she only sees the singer-actor as a big brother.
