Anne Curtis was shocked and left herself a victim of April fools following the announcement of Vice Ganda that he will be leaving “It’s Showtime” for a two month-tour abroad during the live episode of the noontime program on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
During the opening of the noontime show, Vice Ganda turned serious as if he will make a big announcement on the show. Anne Curtis on the other hand was shocked on the revelation of the comedian.
“Bago ang lahat, gusto ko muna magpaalam sa madlang people,” said Vice Ganda. “Meron po akong tour si Europe, kaya mawawala po muna ako, magpapaalam ako — two months lang naman po ako mawawala.”
Anne Curtis quickly respond: “O.A. (over-acting)! Two months?!” the Dyesebel actress said. “Magbabalik din naman po ako after two months… Sana hayaan niyo po muna ako makapag-abroad?,” Vice Ganda further added.
Anne Curtis took it seriously and told Vice Ganda “Seryoso ka ba diyan?,” citing that Vice Ganda previously returned on the noontime show following a concert tour held in United States.
Anne Curtis then realized that she was a victim of an April Fools’ prank when some of the hosts started laughing at her reaction. Anne Curtis had just returned to the noontime program after a week-long absence.
Meanwhile, Anne Curtis earlier announced that an adult character of Dyesebel will be featured on tonight’s episode of the fantasy-series.
