Former actor Royette Padilla, the brother of action star Robin Padilla was arrested on Saturday, March 22, 2014 after an alleged shooting at his neighbor’s house in Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga.
According to the authorities, Royette Padilla was arrested after he allegedly fired shots at the screen door of his neighbor’s house identified as Evelyn Bernardo, 34, and Efren David, 64, along Pasak Street in Redwood Villas on March 22, 2014, Saturday at around 6:40 p.m.
Royette Padilla, who launched an (–foul word(s) removed–)ault on Saturday is currently facing charges of grave threat and has violated the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act known as Republic Act No. 7610.
The victims also narrated on their official sworn statement the incident have had happened over the weekend. Meanwhile, Royette Padilla has denied the allegations regarding the complaint issued against him by his neighbors.
Based on the investigations conducted by the local police, Royette Padilla has fired his gun twice. The complainants then alarmed the public safety department of Clark Development Corp who went on the scene to restrain and turn over the rampage and drunk Royette Padilla to the police.
Royette Padilla was previously charged for attempting a minor in 2009. The Mistah actor was also sent to jail for allegedly beating up his wife Jane Cheryl in 2011.
Royette Padilla came to prominence after he introduced himself as the general of H-World United Nations Philippine Military Government International Police Commission in 1990s.
