The Cinemalaya Foundation has revealed the official list of finalists for 2014 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for the New Breed and Directors’ Showcase categories through the official website of Cultural Center of the Philippines.
The list of finalists for the 2014 Cinemalaya Film Festival features simultaneous genres including the “coming of age stories, romance, epics, comedy and action.”
Cinemalaya which marks its 10th year for showcasing Filipino talents will expose Short Feature Category and film exhibitions aside from the New Breed and Director’s Showcase categories.
Cinemalaya Film Festival is an annual-all-digital festival which aims to recognize the masterpieces of Filipino filmmakers which gives honor for the excellent works of Filipinos in the field of cinematography.
The 2014 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival will be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Greenbelt 3, Trinoma and Alabang Town Center from August 1 to 10, 2014.
