Kapamilya actress Kris Aquino renewed her contract with the leading network in the country, ABS-CBN, on Tuesday morning, January 14, 2014 which also ended speculations that she is planning to transfer to either GMA7 or TV5.

The 42-year-old Kris Aquino described her newest contract as “stricter” but she refused to divulge specific details including the contract duration. Kris Aquino who made her first TV appearance at GMA7 at an early age of 12 is now considered as one of the most popular TV host and actress in the country.
In an interview with ABS-CBN after her contract signing, Kris Aquino was quoted as saying “It’s much stricter now. Kapag pasaway ka, maraming bawas kaya kailangan behaved,” she said.
Kris Aquino added further that the her newest contract with ABS-CBN includes creating content for the newly launched ABS-CBN Mobile, which includes an exclusive online show.
During the signing of Kris Aquino’s newest contract with ABS-CBN, Kris was accompanied by ABS-CBN executives led by Chairman Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III and President and CEO Charo Santos-Concio.
Kris Aquino also stressed during a media interview that she had no plan of leaving ABS-CBN but she revealed that she plans of putting up her own production company, if the negotiations didn’t push through.
The Presidential sister, revealed also that part of her future plans is to expand her transportation business with actor Luis Manzano and to venture into the food industry. She will try to become a businesswoman in the near future, Kris Aquino stated.
