Miss Philippines representative to the 2013 Miss Tourism International, Miss Angeli Dione Gomez was declared as the winner of the prestigious beauty pageant held in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The 20-year-old Cebuana beauty queen was triumphant in the last beauty pageant of the year as she was chosen among the top three finalists which includes Thailand’s Sunid(–foul word(s) removed–) Srisuwan and Malaysia’s Sarah Czarnuch, who placed second and third respectively.
Miss Angeli Dione Gomez became the second Filipina to win the Miss Tourism International crown, after Rizzini Alexis Gomez won the same pageant during the 2012 edition of Miss Tourism International.
With Angeli Dione Gomez’ success she will be “a traveling amb(–foul word(s) removed–)ador in promoting informal international relations between countries to spread the message of peace, goodwill, and friendship,” according to the pageant organizers.
Angeli Dione Gomez joined the long lists of international pageant winners this year which includes Megan Young (Miss World), Mutya Johanna Datul (Miss Supranational), and Bea Rose Santiago (Miss International).
