The Metro Manila Film Festivals announced tonight the winners of the Metro Manila Film Festivals 2013 administered by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.

The awarding ceremony is currently held at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City, Metro Manila. The awarding ceremony started at around 9:00 P.M. The movie 10,000 Hours got the most number of awards including the much-coveted Best Picture.

Action star Robin Padilla was also declared as the winner of Best Actor award for his lead role in 10,000 Hours. The winner of the Best Actress in the mainstream movie goes to Maricel Soriano of “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy.”

  • MMFF New Wave Animation Special Jury Prize winner: “Ang Lalong ni Kulakog” by Omar Aguilar

  • MMFF Best Float: “Boy Golden”
  • MMFF Youth’s Choice Award: “Pagpag Siyam na Buhay”
  • MMFF Best Child Performer: Ryzza Mae Dizon, “My Little Bossings”
  • MMFF New Wave full-length Best Director: Armando Lao, “Dukit”
  • MMFF New Wave full-length Special Jury Prize winner: “Mga Anino ng Kahapon”
  • MMFF Best Original Theme Song: “My Little Bossings”
  • MMFF New Wave full-length Best Actors: Wilfredo Layug, Bor Ocampo, Bambalito Lacap for “Dukit” (triple tie)
  • MMFF Best Make-up: “Pagpag Siyam na Buhay”
  • MMFF Best Visual Effects and Best Production Design: “10,000 Hours”
  • MMFF Best Musical Score: “10,000 Hours”
  • MMFF Best Cinematography: “10,000 Hours”
  • MMFF Most Gender-Sensitive Film (New Wave full-length): “Island Dreams” Directed by Aloy Adlawan and Gino Santos
  • Gender Sensitive Award Main Category: Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy
  • Gender Sensitive Award – New Wave: Island Dreams
