The annual Metro Manila Film Festival will be celebrating its 39th years in the entertainment industry showcasing Filipino movies nationwide in the highly-anticipate film festivals.
The MMFF 2013 kicked off last December 22, 2013 with the introduction of artists and celebrities who attended the Parade of Stars featuring the floats of the Top Eight Official Entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival.
Since the announcement of the Official Entries last June 2013, a total of three films decided to pull out from the competition, aside from the two lead actors that were being replaced.
The winners of the MMFF 2013 will be revealed this coming December 27, 2013 during the awarding ceremony. The MMFF-entry movies will start showing in various theaters nationwide starting on Christmas Day, December 25, 2013.
