The 72 lovely candidates of the Miss International 2013 were presented to the public and the media on December 9, 2013 in Tokyo, Japan. The 53rd edition of the Miss International will take place this coming December 17, 2013 in Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo.

The Miss International 2013 is hosted by Japan for the second straight year. The 2012 winner of the beauty pageant Miss Ikumi Yoshimatu of Japan will crown her successor at the end of the pageant.
The press presentation of the Miss International 2013 is part of the pre-pageant activities. After the press presentation the 72 candidates went on tour of Hokone as they experienced a fun-filled activities.
The Philippines bet Miss Bea Rose Santiago will represent the Philippines in the prestigious beauty pageant as she aims to duplicate the success of Miss Suprational 2013 winner Mutya Johanna Datul and Miss World 2013 winner Megan Young.
