Anne Curtis Painting Auction Earned P105K for Yolanda Victims (Video)

Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis Smith was able to raise P105,000 through her auctioned painting for the survivors of super typhoon Yolanda that devastated the central provinces of the Visayas region. The auctioned of Anne’s painting was held online early this week.

The announcement of the generated amount from Anne’s painting was made on Thursday, November 21, during the telecast of the top-rating show “It’s Showtime.” The 28-year-old actress personally thanked the buyer of her “impromptu artwork.”

The painting of Anne Curtis, which reads “Bangon Pilipinas, Kaya Natin To” was signed by Anne Curtis herself, it was brought by a certain Angelit Perez. The buyer also visited the noontime show.

Aside from the money raised by Anne Curtis through her painting, “It’s Showtime” co-host Vice Ganda, also announced that the amount raised from their two-night show held at Laffline comedy bar in Quezon City early this week which earned P1.5 million will be added also to the donation for Yolanda victims.

According to Vice Ganda, the total fundraising initiatives of “It’s Showtime” which includes donation from Star Mobile and Euro Towers, produced a total of P2.1 million. The funds raised by “It’s Showtime” was received by Sagip Kapamilya director Tina Monzon-Palma, who visited the noontime show.
