Batangas 3rd District Representative Sonny Collantes’ son was involved in an alleged traffic incident caught on video which resulted into attacking the helpless 66-year-old jeepney driver in Pasig City. The incident was reported by the Philippines leading prime time news, TV Patrol on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

According to the ABS-CBN report, the victim was identified as a certain Orlando Garcia, a veteran jeepney driver in Pasig City. Garcia claimed that the Congressman son, lawyer King George Leandro Antonio Collantes confronted him along San Rafael St. Bo. Kapitolyo and accused him of cutting his lane.
The driver confirmed during an interview with ABS-CBN that he was cursed by Congressman’s son hit many times. Meanwhile on the Police report, Collantes said that the jeepney driver grabbed his phone while he was usint it, causing him to accidentally hit Garcia’s eye.
Although the Congressman son’s made a different statement compared to the driver’s account of incident, a video clip, however, shows the son of the Congressman repeatedly punching Garcia who was inside his jeepney.
The ABS-CBN news reported also added that they tried to get the official statement of Congressman’s son, Collantes but he reportedly declined to issue any comment regarding the road rage.
