Actor Rob Schneider to Perform in a Comedy Show in the Philippines

Self-proclaimed Filipino-American actor Rob Schneider is coming to the Philippines for a one-night stand-up comedy show this coming October 28, 2013 at the world-renowned Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City.

The 49-year-old comedian has proudly claimed to be part-Filipino because her maternal grandmother is a Filipina who met her Caucasian grandfather during the times when he was (–foul word(s) removed–)igned to the Philippines.

The upcoming show of comedian Rob Schneider, titled “Rob Scheider: Live in Manila,” marks the first time the Hollywood star will be performing in the country, the show is part of a world tour that includes over 50 performances schedule until August 2014.

Rob Schneider starred in Hollywood box-office hits such as “Deuce Bigalo,” series, “The Hot Chick,” and “The Animal.” Before Rob Schneider’s role in various Hollywood movies he is a prominent figures in the long-running sketch comedy series “Saturday Night Live,” for four seasons, since the year 1988. His stint with SNL earned him Emmy and Peabody Award nominations.

According to Rob Schneider his 2011 stand-up comedy world tour marked his return to live performances, after a decade of concentrating on his Hollywood career.

Rob Schneider is also known among the youth moviegoers with his partnership with Adam Sandler, his co-star in blockbuster hits like the “50 First Dates,” “Grown Ups” and “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan,” to name a few.
