Anne Curtis is very proud and happy for her sister Jamin Curtis-Smith after her achievements of being part of the Oscar entry film, “Transit”. According to the microblogging site, Twitter, the Kapamilya actress tweeted to the whole cast of the film saying, “Congrats to the whole team behind Transit!!! Praying with you that the film gets nominated! Represent!…,”
On Thursday, Jasmin Curtis-Smith was interviewed on “Mornings@ANC”, where she expressed her overwhelming joy. According to the actress, she could not still believe that the country’s official entry to the Oscar’s will be their film, “Transit”.
She thought that the news was a joke at first when she tried to open her account in a social networking site, however, it was confirmed when she tried to read it in an online newspaper.
“Transit” is a film caught lively from Herzliya, Israel. The story circles to the family of Moises, played by Ping Medina, and Janet, played by Irma Adlawan, where they are forced to hide their children against government forces that deport children back to their homeland when they turn to 5 years old.
The director and the producer of the Oscar entry film is no other than Paul Soriano. Right now they are planning to boost the chances of the film to push it to the nominations in the 86th Academy Awards
