Genrev “Revolution” Bacasno was adjudged as the winner of the Shake, Rattle and Pour 18 bartending contest, defeating delegates from Japan, Korea, Australia, India and China in the Asia Pacific Bartender Championship held at TGI Friday’s branch at Bonifacio High Street.
The Filipino winner Bacasno will compete in the upcoming 2013 World Bartender Championship after his successful stint in the Philippines winning the top prize in the regional competition held on Tuesday night, September 10, 2013.
With Bacasno achievement, he received a trophy and a $1,000 cash prize from the organizers of the event. Japan’s Koki Yokohama ranked second, while Korea’s Daniel Lee finished in third place.
