Celebrity couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco confirmed for the very first time and admitted through national TV, that Melai is indeed two-months pregnant. The confirmation was made by comedienne Melai on Sunday, September 8, during an exclusive interview with The Buzz.
The former PBB housemates also admitted that they are planning to tie the knot soon after confirming Melai’s pregnancy. Both housemates said that they were neither shocked nor saddened when they learned about the news that Cantiveros is pregnant.
During an exclusive interview with The Buzz, through Boy Abunda, Melai was quoted as saying that, “Positive na positive. I’m very happy. Nung nalaman ko, hindi ako kinabahan kasi gusto naman talaga namin ni Jason. Nung nagbalikan kasi kami, gusto na talaga namin i-level up ‘yung relationship,” Cantiveros said.
She added: “Lagi akong nilalagnat so nagpa-check up ako. Doon ko nalaman na positive daw na buntis ako. Magkaaway pa kami noon, sinamahan niya lang ako. Nung sinabi ko sa kanya, nawala ang kanyang pagkagalit.” Melai said.
According to the 25-year-old Melai Cantiveros, said that she first broke the news to her mother, who was also very happy for the two of them while the 25-year-old old Jason Francisco for his part, he recently went home to Mindoro to personally tell the good news to his family.
