The Chinese Taipei released their offical team line-up for the FIBA Asia 2013. The Taiwanese is considered by some basketball experts to be the toughest test of the Gilas Pilipinas in the early round of elimination of the 27th FIBA Asia.
Chinese Taipei squad can boasts of their naturalized player Quincy Davis, a dominant figure for the East Asian team. He will be supported by Chinese Taipei’s veteran Tseng Weng-Ting. The 6-foot-8 Tseng has played for the Shanghai Sharks in China and Osaka Evessa in Japan. He is an eight-year member of the Chinese national basketball team.
The Chinese Taipei national team is bracketed with the Philippines, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia in Group A. The Gilas Pilipinas is bracketed with the Chinese Taipei in Group A, the two team will meet at the hardcourt this coming August 3, 2013 at around 8:15 PM at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
