The two-time NBA champion, Miami Heat celebrated with their achievement in a grand parade which concludes with a video presentation of their march to the playoffs and the NBA title.
An estimated of more than 400,000 people attended lining the downtown Miami streets as the Heat held their celebration party on Monday. The players and staffs of Miami Heat stood atop a double-decker bus.
During the celebration, Filipino-American head coach of the Heat, Erik Spoelstra was quoted as saying that, “Miami parties better than any city in the world,” Spoelstra said. “But it took nine months, nine months of incredible sacrifice, not only by these men right here but everybody in our organization, grinding it out every single day, ups and downs, highs and lows. And to have a culmination like Game 7 in front of all of you here is incredible.” Coach Spo stated.
