Miss World 2013 Bikini Outfits Replaced by Sarong

The organizers of the Miss World 2013 in Indonesia have decided to removed the popular bikini outfits and replaced the swimsuits with a more conservative beach sarongs.

The Miss World 2013 has a total of more than 130 contestants from all around the world and they were required to wear Bali’s traditional long sarongs instead of the sexy bikinis according to a news report from Adjie S. Soeratmadjie of the RCTI, the official broadcast partner and local organizer.

The beauty pageant hosted by Indonesia will be having their final round this coming September 28, 2013 in the resort island of Bali, near the capital, Jakarta Indonesia. The country is home of the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

The chairwoman of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley, confirmed that the none of the 137 contestants would wear a bikini. According to her in an interview with (–foul word(s) removed–)ociated Press, “Indonesia is designing for us a very beautiful one-piece beachwear, and I’m very happy with them,” she stated.
