Kapuso actress and one of GMA’s most prominent star, Marian Rivera, had already signed up with a new manager identified as Tony Tuviera of APT Entertainment on April 26, 2013.
Marian’s changing of manager means that she will be no longer handle by Popoy Caritativo of Luminary Talent Management starting today, Friday. The announcement was made through Marian herself during a brief press conference held earlier this afternoon at Luxent Hotel in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
She was quoted as saying that:
“Opo, hindi na po ako kay Popoy… effective nung isang araw pa. Sabihin na lang nating may mga hindi pagkakaintindihan. Hindi na [rin kase] nagiging productive yung relationship namin bilang talent manager at kaibigan.” the Kapuso Primetime Queen told the press.
According to some of our showbiz insiders, there’s a misunderstanding between Popoy and Marian but the actress did not elaborate further the reasons behind, why she changed her long-time talent manager.
There are some speculations also that Marian might transfer to other rival networks, but when she was asked for the possibilities of transfer, she responded by saying that we should wait for August.
