Stephanie Retuya made it to the Top 3 in the first cycle of the pan-Asian modeling competition “Asia’s Next Top Model (AsiasNTM), an adaptation of Tyra Bank’s most popular model search in the US, America’s Next Top Model (ANTM).
The 23-year-old model from San Pedro, Laguna is now a full-time mother to a baby girl but her status didn’t stop her from making waves in the Asian modeling scene.
Stephanie’s inclusion in the competition is a comeback after her modeling career was put to halt after she got pregnant.
The competition for the Asia’s Next Top Model features fourteen representatives from different Asian countries and territories: India, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.
The Filipina model will compete against the best in Asia who have also made it to the Top 3 namely, Taiwan’s model and aspiring actress Kate Ma and Thailand’s Jessica Amornkuldilok.
