Ravens vs. 49ers Super Bowl 2013 Power Outage

The NFL issued a statement regarding the blackout at the SuperDome on their official Twitter account:

The NFL Super Bowl 2013 Main event between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers was put on hold at around 7:36 Central time, the lights went out in the Mercedez-Benz Superdome.

An estimated 100 million people tuning in on live television when the lights went out, the Ravens were leading with the scorecard, moments after Baltimore’s Jacoby Jones opened the second half with a Super Bowl record 109-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
