Star Cinema and Viva Films movie “Sisterakas” widens it’s lead among the top-grossing films of the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival after it’s third day of showing in major cinemas nationwide.
The box-office success of the movie was attributed to thousands if not millions of Filipinos who flocked to different cinemas who wanted to enjoy the brilliant comedy team-up of box office king and queen Vice Ganda and Ai-Ai delas Alas together with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.
The hottest love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo added more following to the movie. The third day gross of the movie reached as much as P95.7 Million but according to Kris Aquino’s tweet it even reached up to P105 Million in 3 days.
Sisterakas challenger in the box office is the movie, Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si AKO which grossed at around Php 58.8 million in 3 days, following them at third place is the MMFF 2012 Best Picture “One More Try,” with a 3-day gross of Php 40.9 Million.
