Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire showed once and for all why he is one of the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world as he dominated and defeated Mexican Jorge Arce during the 3rd round of their world title bout.
Donaire landed a vicious left hook directly to Arce’s face which put the Mexican floored for a few seconds and never tried to stand back. Arce also announced that he will hang up his gloves after he was lost to the best fighter in the world.
The Filipino fighter Donaire was able to continue his winning streak into 30th straight wins and his fourth in the year 2012 alone. He also avenged the earlier loss of Manny Pacquiao against Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez last week.
Donaire sent Arce down during the second round and twice in the third round to secure a knocked-out win. The left hook that put Arce on the canv(–foul word(s) removed–) and decided to end his boxing career landed at around 2:59 in the third round.
