It’s Showtime Continued Ratings Dominance Over Eat Bulaga

It’s Showtime made one of their most memorable achievement in the history of noon-time television ratings as they previously defeated Eat Bulaga in the nationwide TV ratings during their third year anniversary.

The noontime show featuring Vice Ganda and company overtook the nationwide ratings of Television and Production Exponents’ (TAPE) “Eat Bulaga” the leader in noontime show for the past few years but It’s Showtime proved their dominance as they continue  to maintain it’s ratings lead against their rival program.

According to the latest TV ratings data of Kantar Media, on Wednesday October 31, 2012, the Kapamilya noontime show garnered a national TV ratings of 13.6% while GMA’s Eat Bulaga has 13.4% slightly lower.

It’s Showtime continued its winning streak the next day, November 1 with a 13.1% audience share compared to 11.9% for Eat Bulaga. On November 2, the ABS-CBN program reached the 14% mark in national TV ratings while Eat Bulaga managed to get closer at 13.2%.

Right now on it’s new season, It’s Showtime continues to welcome the performing families as contenders in the “second round” of the “Bida Kapamilya” talent competition.

Two of the most popular TV Ratings organization in the Philippines uses panels to determine their data. Kantar Media has a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, while AGB Nielsen has 1,980 homes based in Urban areas.
