The Smart Gilas Pilipinas wanted to proved something today as they face the depending champion Lebanon for their second outings in the currently held 4th FIBA Asia Cup.
The Philippines was defeated yesterday by the young but more determined Chinese Team who were able to rebound from an eight-point deficit and eventually won the game with the final score at 71-68, a three-point advantage.
The Lebanese team on the other hand was really impressive with their first outings as they were able to outscored and demolished the young Macau National Basketball Team with the final score at 71-68.
The Philippines vs. Lebanon match will probably be the best match-up to be watch as the two famous basketball players of the Lebanese squad, Fadi El-Khatib and Elias Rustom will be seeing action against the Smart Gilas.
