Azkals vs. Singapore Match Preview FIFA International Friendly Sept. 7, 2012

The Philippine Azkals will be competing tomorrow against Singapore, one of the toughest team in Southeast Asia for the second game of the Philippines for their Asean tour.

The Singapore National Football is considered as one of the title-contender in the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup although they were ranked behind Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Malaysia but they have a history of surprised wins.

The last time when the Philippines faced Singapore, the Azkals were stunned by the Lions with a 2-0 final score in an international friendly held at the home turf of Singapore.

The Philippines have been preparing so much for this friendly match against Singapore, one of the seeded team in the upcoming 2012 Suzuki Cup. The mentor of Singapore even admitted that they will be playing a different Philippines right now for they will be playing against an European style football.

According to Singaporean Team Coach Raddy Avramovic he was aware and admitted that they will be playing a different Philippine Team because most of the players were playing in Europe and they will brought their experience and shared it to the entire Philippine team.

One of the most popular player and maybe the highest paid European player playing for the Azkals, Stephan Schrock will be playing for the Philippines on their friendly match against Singapore. Schrock currently played for the Bundesliga 1 team  TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

The match between the Philippine Azkals and the Singapore Lions will be shown live on Studio 23, 2012 at around 7:00 PM.  The game will be held at the Jurong West Stadium in Singapore.
