Smart Gilas will face today at around 3:00 PM, the national team of Lebanon, one of the strongest team from the Middle East but right now on their stint with the 34th Jones Cup the Team have been struggling for their first five games winning only one game and dropping their records to 4-1 win-loss card.
The Philippine National Team on the other hand wanted to continue their winning streak after they enter the sixth day of the competition with an impressive 4-0 win-loss card and tied the over-all leader Iran.
The Smart Gilas Team was lucky enough during their last game against Japan when Gabe Norwood hit a big three-pointer to gain their lead and momentum in the fourth quarter. The points was also added with another brilliant p(–foul word(s) removed–) made by Jeff Chan to center Mark Douthit and scored an easy two for the remaining few seconds of the game.
