The decisions of the five judges convened by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) was already released by the organization giving the Filipino Champion Manny Pacquiao winning by a unanimous decision against the undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley.
The controversial fight that was held last June 9 in Las Vegas urged the organization to review the decision of the three judges scoring the Manny Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley Welterweight World Title Fight.
The five judges that was commissioned by the WBO scored unanimously in favor for Manny Pacquiao with the score at 117-111, 117-111, 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113.
The WBO President Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel, stated that although the have reviewed the tape and scored in favor of Pacquiao. According to Valcarcel, ”The only thing that we can do is authorize a rematch,” Valcarcel told RingTV.
The Pacquiao vs. Bradley was marred by controversy after the most shocking decisions in boxing this year, Bradley was named the victor in their WBO welterweight clash last June 9, with judges Duane Ford and CJ Ross scoring the bout 115-113 in his favor. Only Jerry Roth scored the bout for Pacquiao, 115-113.
The decision of the judges during the fight night could be reverse but according to Bob Arum, the findings made by the WBO was a significant conclusion. Arum is still undecided to push through the rematch between Pacquiao and Bradley and instead looking for a fourth installment between Pacquiao and Marquez but it all depends upon the decision of Manny Pacquiao.
