Thoreen Halvorsen, 19-year-old Tourism student from Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Thoreen childhood experiences made her grow as a person, she learned the importance of facing all her problem trails and developing a deeper faith in God.
Her most memorable moment was her academic achievement in 3rd grade because that was the first time her Dad attended her school activity. Thoreen’s father placed the medal around her neck.
Her ambition in life is to take further from her studies after B. S Tourism she want to become a successful lawyer. Her environmental advocacy “No To Mining” this is the current issue today facing the mining activity in the southern part of Palawan. It affects the livelihood of the residents there, especially those in the Agriculture industry.
