The Philippine Azkals will go up against the young but determined team from Australia, the Qantas Australia U-23 which were preparing for the 2012 London Olympics and will use the tune-up game against the Senior Azkals for their upcoming game against UAE U-23.
The game between the Azkals and Australia U-23 will be telecast live on Studio 23, today, February 16, 2012 at around 12:00 Midnight Philippine Time to be held at the Al Nasr Stadium in Dubai, UAE.
The Azkals which successfully defeated a division 1 football club from Doha, Qatar, the Al Ahli FC while the Australia u-23 is also determined to rebound against their lost earlier with the Uzbekistan U-23 team.
Australia U-23 had also suffered defeat against the Uzbekistan U-23 during their game as part of the elimination for the Summer Olympics Qualifying round. They both suffered a lost on one team the Uzbekistan U-23 National Football Team.
According to the official twitter account of ABS-CBN News the game will kick-off at around 12:oo Midnight Philippine Time.
ABS-CBN Sports tweeted “Philippine Azkals vs. Qantas Australia U-23 Olyroos on Feb. 16, Thurs LIVE at 11:30 p.m. (kick-off at 12 midnight) on Studio 23.” ABS-CBN Sports stated.
