An article published via ABS-CBN news site confirms that the Congressman Ignacio Arroyo Jr. is dead.
Mike Arroyo declared the said news on Thursday, late in the afternoon.
It was reported earlier that the Negros Occidental Representative Iggy Arroyo was clinically dead. Few hours after such announcement, the said lawmaker has p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away.
Congressman Iggy Arroyo was reported to have suffered cardiac arrest last Wednesday eve and was immediately rushed to London ICU.
His physical body became dependent to significant medical paraphernalia during his last few hours until Mike Arroyo made a declaration that Iggy already took his last breath.
All the medical equipment that can possibly save his life had been attached to his body yet Rep. Iggy Arroyo’s health wasn’t retrieved.
The Neg. Occ. Representative was earlier revived from a coma yet his heartbeat had stopped Thursday morning based on the statement given by the Philippines’ former first gentleman Mike Arroyo.
It was on 2011 that Congressman Iggy Arroyo left the Philippines for London to undergo a thorough treatment for his liver disease.
The source added that Rep. Iggy Arroyo must stretch his time to stay in London due to the on-going treatment he must have to cure his liver disease.
It was recalled that last year, his name was listed to have the most number of absents in the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
In 2003, his name caught the media’s attention when he claimed that he was the man behind the Jose Pidal Account. Previous allegations also claimed that it was his brother who owned the said multi-million-peso bank account.
