Many of the Filipinos are in sorrow after the horrible tragedy caused by the deadly cyclone Sendong, which left a thousand and hundreds missing, but there’s these two person who were insensitive about what happened to their fellowmen.
An insensitive, not-so-good, and merciless comments of two Filipinos named Celine Acut, who is currently living on France, and one person named Van Carumba in their Facebook account about the typhoon Sendong victims became the subject of hatred among Filipinos.
Celine Acut infamously said: (based what she saw in the news) “almost all of the victims are poor families, so it’s better that they all die already… whats the point of living a life which is full of hunger, at least they are now resting with peace..they are worthless, they are unproductive and their lives has no value at al.. they are just making more problems to the society so as i said its better that they have died this early.. they don’t desserve a chance to live because they are poor, they are not VIP anyways.”
Discontented, she even made a follow-up post that says: “I even wish sendong to come back and flash away those remaining poor families over there.”
Van Carumba, on the other hand, made her post that says: “Buti nga nangyari yan sa CDO (Cagayan De Oro)… Di pa namamatay lahat ng tao jan. Mga putangina nyo lahat!!!!!”
These two comments were such a disgrace, and as of these two posting, there are several Facebook pages created to criticize and condemn Celine Acut and Van Carumba. One Facebook page has the title “Celine Acut Must Be Burned Alive!! Yawa Ka,” and “R.I.P. Van Carumba.”

Filipinos in CDO and Iligan City don’t deserve the pain, sadness, and woe because of the deadly damage of the typhoon Sendong… CELINE ACUT and VAN CARUMBA were devils! How dare are they saying things like that!! I’m just praying GOD will let them suffer until their last breath… They’re more deserving to die!!!

Filipinos who were leaving outside the Philippines were just pretending that they were indeed not suffering but the truth is that, there were circumstances that they were mistreated while making a living in those countries.
