The original wedding dress that was worn by Bella in the movie was created by Carolina Herrera, one of New York’s fashion designer, is made from crepe satin with French Chantilly lace with 152 buttons that line the entire back, took six months to make and was handmade by four seamstresses, and is estimated to be worth $35,000.
According to Herrera, he “wanted to create a magical moment that they had at the wedding, knowing Bella’s an innocent girl that is finding her first true love, so there is romance, there is magic, there is everything together.”
In a report from Access Hollywood on Tuesday, Celebrity stylist Joey Tierney said that the wedding gown “is for every woman. Everybody can be Bella. The waist is very slimming, the way they designed it. It’s cl(–foul word(s) removed–)y.”
