Morgan Freeman earns the Golden Globes’ Cecille B. DeMille Award

Golden Globe Cecile B. DeMille Award, granted by the Hollywood Foreign Press (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation, or also known as the HFPA, which gives honor someone who had great and “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment” has chosen the 74-year-old Academy Award winning actor and director Morgan J. Freeman.

Apparently, Freeman will be the 60th honoree of the DeMille Award which awarded several recognizable figures like Steven Spielberg, Walt Disney, Barbra Streisand, and Elizabeth Taylor.

Well, it’s not a surprise for all of us knowing that Freeman’s success were in his box-office hits Bruce Almighty, Glory Seven, The Sum of All Fears, Unforgiven, Deep Impact, March of the Penguins, Evan Almighty, Batman Begins, Wanted, The Dark Knight,The Bucket List, and Red.

Freeman is also best known for winning the prestigious awards such as Golden Globe Award in the movie ‘Driving Miss Daisy’, supporting actor in 2005’s ‘Million Dollar Baby’, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

The award-winning actor will brought home his deserved lifetime achievement award at the 69th Annual Golden Globe ceremony that will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be air live on NBC on January 15 the next year.
