Forbes magazine announces the international artist Leonardo DiCaprio as one of the highest paid actor surrounding the Hollywood.
DiCaprio was noted to appear in the 2011 Hollywood movie entitled “Inception” with his role being the leading man. With a span of one year, this 36-year-old actor already collected a total of $77 million beginning in May 2010 up to May of this year.
Accumulating such a huge amount simply proves that he can do better than Johnny Depp who grossed $50 million. DiCaprio’s earnings are calculated to have a $27 million difference from that of Depp on a similar time period.
Last year, it was Johnny Depp who topped in the list of highest paid actors. But now, Depp went down one step since his position had been replaced by DiCaprio in 2011.
Forbes magazine tells that DiCaprio’s films like Shutter Island and Inception boosted his present earnings.
Following Johnny Depp is Adam Sandler who was able to accumulate $40 million placing him in the third rank. The fourth place went to Will Smith who had $36 million while the fifth rank was given to Tom Hanks with $35 million earnings.
