Michael Jackson: Tribute and benefit show set in Cardiff

Michael JacksonIn order to pay tribute to Michael Jackson’s music as well as to raise fund for three charities including an Aids Project that is based in Los Angeles, Global Live Events on Monday had announced that a concert will be held in Cardiff, Wales.

Acts and artists for the said concert were still unnamed however, as posted on the event’s website, it was said that “the world’s greatest performing artists” will be performing in Wales which will be the host for this once in a lifetime show.

The said planned concert was already approved and supported by the Jackson’s Family however, two of Michael’s brother had expressed their side about the chosen date for it clashes to the date of trial of Dr. Conrad Murray. To recall Dr. Murray was suspected being involved in the death of the singer last June 2009. He was the former doctor of Jackson.

The proceedings of the case will start on September 20 and as the concert falls on October 8, the brothers expressed that the time is ‘inappropriate.’

Coming from the official statement of the Jermaine and Randy Jackson which was published in bbcnews.com, the two said that there would be a right time and place for the much deserve tribute for Michael, however, for now, they stressed that the best tribute for their brother is justice for his death.

Michael died at age 50 while in the he is preparing for his This Is It Concert. The cause of his death is still unclear.

As announced, the Global Live Events had chosen Millennium Stadium to be the venue of the anticipated tribute concert for the late Pop Icon.

Michael Jackson is not only a music icon but he was known also for his charity works.

The producer of the upcoming tribute concert for Jackson is planned to be aired to 30 countries in the world and it is eyed to be released via 2D and 3D.
