Philippine team Azkals vs. Kuwait 2nd leg match

The battle is not yet over between the Philippine team Azkals and the Kuwaiti’s Al-Azraqs. A full combat of strength, skills and speed is expected to both parties when they meet again on Thursday, July 28. Their second leg match and the last game on their way in a World Cup qualifying series will be held at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex football Stadium in Manila.

This game will be hard for the Azkals, based on their last lost against the Kuwaiti’s at score of 3-0 in favour of the Al-Azraqs. The only way they could win the game is to play a 100% performance, which only means of a score not less than four goals against zero of Kuwait.

It is clear that the Kuwait’s team was much tougher and stronger compared to Azkals after their win last Sunday in Kuwait City’s Mohammed Al Hamad Stadium. In spite all of this, the team Azkals is still determined to fight until the end.

But this time the Azkals team captain Aly Borromeo and Fil-German Stephan Schrock will finally be back on the game after their one-game suspension was over. The Azkals will surely give Al-Azraqs a much tougher fight than before.

According to Negros-Ceres Team (–foul word(s) removed–)istant coach Ramon Janeo, the Philippine team must need to strengthen their midfield, defense and the act of finishing. He added that the comeback of skipper Aly Borromeo and midfielder Schrock is a big help to the team’s possibility to win.

Borromeo said that they can only beat the opposing team by scoring as early as possible before halftime.

Aside from Aly Borromeo and Stephan Schrock that were considered as Azkals top players, two other best players of the team namely Jerry Lucena and Paul Mulders were also missing in the game when they came to play in Kuwait, that makes a difference that a favorable result was given to the Kuwaitis, coach Hans Michael Weiss said. He added that their team will have a chance to win if they can score earlier and faster while preventing the other team from scoring even a single goal in Manila.

But for all Filipinos that support the team Azkals, expected the unexpected for as what quoted from Coach Ramon Janeo’s statement “We always know na bilog naman ang bola, so in football anything can happen”.
