American Idol 2011 Winner Is Scotty McCreery

Scotty McCreery, the 17-old country crooner was declared the winner of American Idol Season 10 by beating fellow teen-ager and southerner Lauren Alaina. The viewing public had decided, and they chose to brought about a genre in which everybody consider as not an all-american genre, but it brings back the original western and country music to the mainstream.

The results has been finally revealed after a long wait of the kind of music that will be triumphant in this years American Idol Season 10 edition which is full of surprised after today’s famous genres has been eliminated one by one. Scotty has proven his superiority over Lauren Alaina after he got the majority of the record breaking 122.4 million votes.

Scotty McCreery’s performance of the song “I Love You This Big,” which will be his first single during the finale last Tuesday was favored by analysts from different internet sites which conduct research and surveys regarding the possible winner of the show. Meanwhile Lauren Alaina’s rendition of “Like My Mother Does” got a valuable  support from the three American Idol judges, but still the decision lies upon the American viewing public.

The victory of McCreery continued a pattern in American Idol winners. He was the fourth consecutive American Idol Male Winner. The last female winner was 2007 Idol Jordin Sparks, the last female Idol who happens to be 17 also when declared as the winner.

The announcement of the winner came after the spectacular two hour performance prepared by American Idol to entertain the live audiences and millions of viewers worldwide. It showcased the performance of the 11 finalists and former winners of the show. Guests singers from the past and presents converged in one of the highly anticipated production number in American Idol history.

Judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler had also showcased their skills and giving the audience the entertainment they deserved. After Steve Tyler’s rendition of his popular song and screaming hit “Dream On”. Finally the winner was declared and it was Scotty McCreery.
