“Hidden by mature foliage” and “sits on 1.27 acres at the top of a long driveway.” This is how Taylor Estate describes the beauty of the Bel Air estate of one of the Hollywood’s Golden Age great actresses Elizabeth Taylor.
According to the Mossler Properties, the said estate, which Taylor had spent her 30 years since 1981 is now for sale and is worth $ 8.6 Million.
The said property was originally owned by Nancy Sinatra Sr., and is a 7,000-square-foot ranch-style house with a pool, lush landscaping, a broad bricked motor court, and a private driveway.
“The house was the focal point for the family and where we all gathered, especially at Thanksgiving and Easter”, Taylor’s son, Christopher Wilding commented.
“There’s certainly the panache of Elizabeth Taylor, and the celebrity status that she brings with the property, and then of course there is the straight real estate value which is Bel-Air exclusive, lower Bel-Air. I think one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the world,” according to Real Estate Expert Mauricio Umansky, of the Umansky Group.
Before Taylor p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away last March 23 of congestive heart failure, she remarkably said of her home , “I can look out on the lovely garden, where one tree in particular inspires me if I am down. It has an exotic, magical quality, like the woods that come alive in The Wizard of Oz.”
Elizabeth Taylor will always be remembered. 🙂
