
Philippines famous motorcycling champion was finally laid to rest at Loyola Marikina today. Hundreds of motorcycle riders had escorted his funeral from Loyola Guadalupe p(–foul word(s) removed–)ing Edsa, Boni Ave., P(–foul word(s) removed–)ing down to Kalayaan-Whitel Plains and to Marikina. The 22-year old champion died in an accident at at Clark Speedway in Pampanga.
Maico Buncio was known as the Philippines fastest man on two wheels. He was the man who broke the record at 400cc superbike-cl(–foul word(s) removed–) at the Batangas Racing Circuit with a time of 2 min. and 7 sec. and 1 minute 37 seconds, respectively. Winner at the Super Bike Category for four years in a row.
The body of Maico Buncio was finally laid to rest after the motorcade that was supported by thousands of bikers in Metro Manila. Despite the rains his fans and supporters continued their motorcade and supported the Buncio family for the last time especially during these times when comfort was needed for the family.

Motorbike bikers had paid homage to Maico Buncio and his family. Thousands of message had flooded the internet as a sign of support for the family. Twitter was once again used as a medium to express sympathy for the Buncio Family.
In an interview by ABS-CBN to the father of Maico Buncio he was thankful to the people who had supported his son and giving them sympathy and condolences. Gregorio the father of Maico was thankful for the tribute given by the bikers to his son.
The bikers were given the chance to take a glance at Buncio’s body before he was laid down to rest at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.
