Sarangani Representative Congressman Manny Pacquiao aired his opinion about the issue of Reproductive Health Bill; he said that he does not support the RH bill.
However, his wife Jinkee Pacquiao admitted that she had been using the contraceptive pills, but she also said that she immediately stopped using it after she learned about it.
According to Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News correspondent, Jinkee sends her a text message admitting that she has been using it without the knowledge of his husband Manny. But that was long time ago she said. And in addition to that, during that time there was no issue about the RH bill, added Jinkee.
Later on Manny knows that she was using the contraceptive pills, in which the Roman Catholic Church strongly prohibited all catholic members in using it. And she stopped taking it right away.
Since Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao’s advocacy is anti-RH Bill, Jinkee’s earlier statement becomes controversial triggering some people mocking the Congressman a hypocrite and did not conformed to his stance for his anti-RH Bill.
Jinkee onetime said to a cosmetologist Vicki Belo saying: “I told Manny, after our fourth baby Queenie, is enough, and that time I could not undergo ligation procedure, and I took contraceptive pills until now,” she said in an article published in The Philippine Star.
Meanwhile, Jinkee said that she is supporting whatever his husband decision regarding the controversial issue of RH bill.
She also said, “She will stand by his husband’s conviction whatever opinion Manny can be, she will support for it, she told Castillejo.
I’m definitely anti-Reproductive Health Bill, Jinkee added.
