Cathay Pacific Flight CX715 bound for Jakarta, Indonesia landed back from its destination the Changi International Airport in Singapore. One of the engine of Cathay Pacific Airbus 330 was caught on fire while on flight.
Flight CX715 depart from Changi Airport at around 1:12 AM and after 20 minutes of flight, p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers had heard two sharp bangs which came from one of its engine. It was during meal serving by the Cabin crew who where scurrying to retrieve the meals they were serving.
Cathay Pacific flight were carrying 136 p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers, all of them were secured after the plane returned to Changi Airport at around 1:57 AM. The engine had been shutdown by the personnel onboard during the flight when they received the “stall warning.”
During the incident which some p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers had seen fire from one of its engine, they were all composed and panicked were minimized when they started praying in unison.
One of the p(–foul word(s) removed–)enger a Reuter photographer named Beawiharta described his experience during the incident. He said that “the plane began shaking violently,” he said, “the lights went out, I could smell something burning.” the photographer said.
According to Beawiharta his son Pradipta had seen the fire and was so afraid. The child even asked if they were going to die but he comforted his son, until the plane touched down successfully back to Singapore.
Beawiharta further adds that “A stewardess told us an engine had caught fire and we were on our way back to Singapore. Glued to the window, my son said he could see lights, the sea and ships and then lights on the ground. We all grabbed life jackets from beneath our seats, but the plane landed smoothly.”
The captain Cathay Pacific plane thanked the positive response of the p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers during the incidents, he praised them for not panicking for that helps a lot in maneuvering successfully the plane back to Singapore. Firefighters quickly responded upon landing at Changi Airport.

The engine supplied to this aircraft is lower size,Roles Raise has to make another engine capable to produce more power . In order to lift the aircraft the engine rotter to rotate more ,that motion is building eccentric tork in which parts of the impaler will dis(removed)emble and moves in it’s direction in a huge velocity . Once may hit the p(removed)enger cabinet and do a trematodes disaster, should all those air crafts supplied with this engine to stop in order to revamp the engines to higher capacity one.
