Jeremy Lee Renner was chosen to play the lead role for the forthcoming installment of the Bourne Series which formerly stars Matt Damon. Jeremy mostly played in supporting roles and have been in acting career since 2000. He came to prominence when he was nominated as Best Actor in 2009 war-thriller The Hurt Locker.
Renner was born on born January 7, 1971 at Modesto, California with four siblings. The 41 year old American actor was the son of Valerie Cearley and Lee Renner.
Jeremy Renner have also played supporting roles blockbuster films such as S.W.A.T. Just recently he had just finished shooting his latest movie with Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.
He was also chosen to play the character of Hawkeye in Marvel Studios’ The Avengers, due to begin shooting later this year.
The Bourne Legacy was written and directed by Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton), Renner would play a new character within the Bourne universe, an agent in a different covert government program.
The highly anticipated Bourne series have been scheduled to start filming this coming September and will be released in October 2012.
Hollywood film critics were doing negative comments for the upcoming film but the chosen star promised to give his best shot to retain if not surp(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the previous blockbuster hit of Bourne star Matt Damon. The introduction of Jeremy to the Bourne series will also a preview also of a possible team up of the original star and the newly chosen actor for the lead role.
