Stefano Langone, the 22-year-old American Idol hopeful and one of the favorite of Jennifer Lopez was voted out in American Idol 2011. The wild card entry Langone was eliminated last night, he was at the bottom three with Jacob Lusk and Haley Reinhart.
Jennifer Lopez, the 41-year-old diva was one of those who were deeply saddened during the announcement of Langone’s departure. After the early exit of Pia Toscano, Lopez hoped that the public will not vote out her favorites.
Meanwhile, James Durbin, the best-friend of Stefano was also disappointed with the results and came up to the stage and gave Langone a hug. Durbin was safe and made it to the top six of the American Idol. James Durbin was caught on camera holding his head in his hands and shedding tears.
The last remaining six contestants were Scotty McCreery, Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk and Haley Reinhart.
