President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III keeps away from controversial television show of Willie Revillame to avoid any controversies and issues.
In the statement given by the Presidential Spokes Edwin Lacierda, he said that Aquino explained that in the first place he dont watch the show of Willie so why would he be involved.
She also added that the ‘Movie and Television Review and Cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ification Board’ (MTRCB) is the one who will decide what to do with the show ‘Willing Willie’ on TV5. Revillame as the host of the show is said to be involved, it is regarding with an episode that caused complaints and criticisms from different sectors after a 6 year old kid tearfully performed an indecent dance. It was during the March 12 episode and after the kid danced he was given P10, 000 as an exchange for his performance.
As to the spokesman, the President not involved in the controversy, they are not involved with Willie Revillame’s controversy. The President will not be making any decision or comment regarding with the issue except for the letter of Secretary Soliman.
Lacierda did not also comment on the declared statement of host Willie Revillame that the Palace is putting Revillame down because of campaigning Senator Manny Villar during the last election.
