Even the CBCP have appealled to the concerned company to support their call of pull out in order to give room for thorough investigation with the child abuse accusations against the host Willie Revillame.
First to respond with the calls was the Mang Inasal brand of Jollibee Foods Corporation. They pulled out their ads last April 2, 2011.
Fit ‘n’ Right from Del Monte Pacific Limited follow through by pulling out their ads last April 2, 2o11.
By April 11, Procter and Gamble Philippines will also temporarily suspend their ads while waiting for the review and investigation by the authorities.
Cebuana Lhuillier have also announced their ads pull-out starting April 11, 2011.
Meanwhile Unilever Philippines will temporarily suspend their ad placement starting April 11, but they clarified that not only Willing Willie but in all networks which have similar type of programming.
The Willing Willie show which was produced by Will Productions have an estimated average daily income of P8.5 -9.0 million. One of the top rating show of Kapatid Network (ABC-5). Willie Revillame the controversial host of the show announced last Friday that he is going on leave and the show will be off the air starting April 11, 2011.
