Justin Timberlake to receive Big Help Award from Nickelodeon

A prestigious award from Nickelodeon will be given to Justin Timberlake on Saturday.

Musician-turned-actor Justin Timberlake will be receiving a Big Help Award this coming Saturday for the Nickelodeon 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards.

Inspired by his parents and family, Timberlake says that it had been his mission to give aid to children as he makes them understand about the importance of being active in the community as well as in the local charities to save the planet.

In 2008, Justine commits to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children. He also hosts for the PGA golf tournament held every year where, it had been a way to raise funds for poor children.

Moreover, he also established an environment-friendly Mirimichi Golf Course situated in Millington, Tennessee which was known to surround a wildlife habitat where only less water is being consumed.

Furthermore, it was in 2009 where he was able to climb the world’s largest free standing mountain known as Mount Kilimanjaro to promote awareness regarding global water crisis. He was 30 years old at that time. He said that he was under training four times weekly where he would have to climb  for a week straight while carrying 30 lbs on their backs. He said it was a rewarding activity.

Meanwhile, the Black Eyed Peas member Willow Smith and star Kim Kardashian will be among those who will perform on Saturday’s Nickelodeon event.
